David Boreanaz
David has a total of two tattoos. After he married Jamie Bergmen, the two of them got matching tattoos, the tattoos are solid black Chinese characters which represent soul and fate. Jaime has matching ones. They say that when they hold hands, their souls and their fates are joined together. The tattoos can be found on the inside of their wrists.

Angel / Angelus
Angel has a large Celtic gryphon that's holding the letter "A" between it's legs. The "gryphon" is actually the god Phoenix, the story is that the bird Phoenix rose up from the ashes. Meaning: That when you die, you'll eventually come back some day if you are strong enough. This tattoo can be found on his right shoulder blade.
